Thinstripes
The interpretation was to abstract the striping.
Both designs should be experienced as graphic geometric compositions.
The contrast between the straight contours of the designs and the soft organic selected materials ‘abstracts’ and transforms them into painted or sculptured handmade rugs which can re-dimension living spaces.

This design is presented in SURMER 12/18 loop/cut. By using two different textures: cut pile and loop pile, we create a 3D-depth and original texture.
